It’s been a year since the first official motorcycle sightseeing service of the Hungarian capital, Budapest TukTuk, started operating. These small vehicles operate successfully in several European capital cities.

But first, let’s clarify: TukTuk is not a taxi service. It doesn’t compete with taxis, rickshaws, or sightseeing bus companies. Budapest TukTuk is unique in offering an entirely private experience for two passengers who can decide where to go or modify the planned route. Meanwhile, the driver provides insightful commentary about the sights.

On the TukTuk website, you can book our thematic tours focused on tourism, cultural attractions, and gastronomy. We currently offer 13 sightseeing and gastronomy tours, some tailored for couples seeking romance, and others for those preparing for a party night.

Tour Examples:

Castle Picnic: After a 1.5-hour tour, enjoy a walk in the Castle area and a complimentary artisanal meat and cheese platter with a bottle of Dúzsi rosé wine near Matthias Church.

Romantic Budapest: Write a new chapter in your story as you explore Budapest’s most charming spots. Starting from the city’s heart with its secret-filled streets, we’ll cross the river to Gellért Hill, offering a completely different perspective. We’ll then cruise through Tabán and reach Buda Castle to discover the Palace and the Castle Bazaar.
